Following President Donald Trump’s decision to call off the team’s visit, the White House scheduled a “Celebration of America" for those Eagles fans they said the team had abandoned.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Trump held the replacement event because he “didn’t want to disappoint” the Eagles fans who were planning to attend the ceremony.

“The number he [Trump] focused on, is the number of Eagles fans, who had already been waived in, and secured here to come to the White House,” said Conway.

But did any Eagles fans actually attend the event?

NBC10 Philadelphia reporter Tim Furlong, who covered the event, said he couldn’t find one person that could even name the team’s starting quarterback.

He also reported that he found only one person at the event wearing Eagles gear.

Trump reportedly never even mentioned the team.

From Philly.com:

Katherine Faulders of ABC News reported that the White House sent an email to all staffers inviting them to attend the event.

Reporters attempting to find anyone that was actually from Philadelphia, reportedly received “blank stares” from the crowd.

So did any Eagles fans actually attend the White House’s fan event? Our conclusion — maybe a few.
