Unseeded Bopanna and Qureshi went down 5-7, 2-6 to Vasek Pospisil of Canada and Jack Sock of the US on Tuesday. Sock and Pospisil will not face the fifth seeded pair of Leander Paes of India and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic in the second round. Paes and Stepanek got a bye in the first round.
